Programs

Through a series of conversations with high net worth individuals and business leaders in Washington, DC in 2007, it became eminently clear that there was a paucity of opportunities for individuals to wrestle with the complex issues of education reform.

In response CityBridge Foundation offers a multitude of channels through which individuals can meaningfully discuss such issues and find ways to contribute their resources, talents, and passions into education reform.

We manage a variety of recurring opportunities in an effort to engage interested stewards of education reform in a flexible, predictable schedule. These programs include DC Public Education Learning Series, Board Candidate Training, Book Club, and First Fridays. Many of these events occur monthly, which provides busy community members with the opportunity to learn more about the education landscape in DC on an ongoing basis.
