Kate Lewis-LaMonica
Associate Director, Research and Programs
Kate Lewis-LaMonica is the associate director of research and programs at CityBridge Foundation. She oversees local and national best practices research to inform CityBridge’s investment decisions and to support its grantees. She also manages the foundation’s investment portfolio. In the winter of 2010-2011, Ms. Lewis-LaMonica took a leave of absence from CityBridge to work on Mayor Gray’s education transition team, coordinating its stakeholder engagement work. Drawing on that experience, she will be piloting a new program area at CityBridge around community stewardship. For two years, Ms. Lewis-LaMonica has served as the chair of the DC Area Steering Committee for the Princeton AlumniCorps Fellowship Program, and she was a member of the US National Lacrosse Team from 2005 to 2008. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.
