Katherine Brittain Bradley
President
Katherine Bradley launched CityBridge in 1994 with her husband, media entrepreneur and magazine publisher David Bradley. CityBridge was originally conceived as the nonprofit arm of the Bradleys’ “best practices” health care consulting firm, The Advisory Board Company.
Katherine graduated with Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. The Bradleys live in Washington, D.C. with their three teenage sons. Katherine has served on the boards of many local nonprofits, including America’s Promise, Teach for America (D.C.), the SEED Public Charter School, City Year, and the Black Student Fund. She has also been an active board member at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Day School, where all her children attended and where she served as chair of the board of trustees from 2000-2004.
Andrew W. Lee
Executive Director
Andy Lee became the Executive Director of the CityBridge Foundation in June 2003. Prior to joining the foundation, he spent thirteen years working with the Bradleys at their two for-profit companies, The Advisory Board and the Corporate Executive Board. He held a variety of leadership roles across the sales, marketing, and career management groups.
At CityBridge, Andy oversees all foundation operations and strategy including staff management, partner relations, and project implementation.
Andy holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Yale University. He serves on the boards of two CityBridge partners, KIPP DC and Samaritan Inns.
Arthur McKee
Program Director, CityBridge Education
Arthur McKee heads CityBridge Foundation’s Early Years Education Initiative, which aims to close the achievement gap in the nation’s capital through strategic investments in early childhood educational services and supports.
Prior to the launch of the Early Years Initiative in 2006, Arthur investigated the potential of philanthropic strategies in the areas of homeless service provision, workforce development, and asset building. He also taught Russian history at American University.
Arthur joined the foundation in 2000. He has a Bachelor of Arts in History from Princeton University and a Ph.D. in Russian History from U.C. Berkeley. He serves on the board of DC Preparatory Academy and has two young sons.
Annie (Linehan) Czerwinski
Program Officer, ServiceCorps
Annie Czerwinski oversees the ServiceCorps program, directing operations and strategy for ServiceCorps’ civic engagement program for local corporate partners.
Her previous experience includes two years of corporate marketing with The Advisory Board Company and the Corporate Executive Board. Prior to that, Annie worked at UNICEF in Buenos Aires, helping direct strategy for Public Private Partnerships in Argentina. She also served with AmeriCorps in Washington, D.C., where she taught nutrition through a program developed by the Capital Area Community Food Bank.
Annie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Arts from the Georgetown University Public Policy Institute. She is a mentor with the Higher Achievement Program and serves as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Georgetown Public Policy Alumni Board.
